Here’s another FIDE rated tournament which will allow non-FIDE rated players to get a chance to achieve rating points and to be listed in the FIDE rating list The details as below:

INSOFAR INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT 2010

( FIDE RATED )

Date : Every alternate Friday nights ( begin on 15^th January )

Time : 7.30 p.m. – 11.30 p.m.

Place : HBM Professional Training Centre,03 – 36 3^rd. Floor,

PKNS Complex, Shah Alam

Rounds : 7 rounds

Time control : 90 min. + 30 sec. ( increment )

Players : Limited to 16 players ( Rated & Unrated )

Probably all or most of the rated players will be below 2 000 FIDE Rating

( 2 – 8 rated players will be involved )

Fees : Deposit RM 80 ( Returnable )

Entrance fee RM 90

Total RM 170

a) Deposit – pay earlier

b) Fees – can pay during Round 1

*There is a small surau in the office and a bigger surau in the building.

Application

1. Application by SMS your Full Name to 017 -2032051.

Do not bank in your RM80 ( deposit ) until your application is approved.

2. Once your application is approved, you can bank in RM 80 ( deposit ) to

Maybank 158172805863 (Mat Zaki ).

3. SMS to inform date & time of bank in and keep the slip for tournament day.

4. Entrance fees of RM 90 can pay during Round 1.

5. Must bank in deposit ( RM 80 ) within 24 hours of approval.

6. If absent on any round, RM 20 will be deducted for every round. Balance of deposit will be returned on Round 7.

7. Chess clocks & sets are provided.

Champion – RM 300 + certificate

Runner up – RM 200 + certificate

3^rd – RM 150 + certificate

4^th – RM 130 + certificate

5^th – RM 120 + certificate

6^th – RM 100 + certificate

7^th – RM 100 + certificate

8^th – RM 100 + certificate

9^th – RM 100 + certificate

10^th – RM 100 + certificate

Total RM 1 400

Certificate will be given to all winners & participants.
