Satu lagi kejohanan catur akan dianjurkan oleh DATCC yang dinamakan ‘DATCC Rookie Tornado Chess’ bertempat di Dato’ Arthur Tan Chess Centre pada Sabtu, 27 Feb ini. Kejohanan ini diadakan khas untuk peserta2 yang belum ada National Rating atau mereka yang mempunyai National Rating 1400 ke bawah sahaja. Ianya mungkin akan membuka peluang meraih hadiah kepada mereka yang baru nak berjinak-jinak mengenal catur dan baru ingin menyertai kejohanan/pertandingan catur di Malaysia.
